UNDP, BFAR complete last leg of Blue Swimming Crab National Management Plan fishery sustainability consultations
The report, launched by Inclusive Business advocacy platform Business Call to Action (BCtA) hosted by the United Nations Development Programme and Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), the largest corporate-led organization in the Philippines promoting Inclusive Business, examines how businesses can be more ‘inclusive’ by providing employment, goods, services and livelihoods in a commercially viable manner to people living at the base of the economic pyramid.
United Nations Development Programme was awarded the “Development Aid of the Year Award” for Biodiversity at the Mission:PHL Envoys & Expats Recognition Awards last April 4, 2019 at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier, Taguig City.
UNDP has been working in the Philippines for over 40 years. Today, it continues to strengthen the country’s capacities at the national and local levels to promote democratic governance, sustainable management of natural resources, climate change adaptation and disaster risk management, and resilience and peacebuilding.
