UNDP Country Director Titon Mitra visited Iloilo in June and met with communities supported by the Migration and Development Initiative in Western Visayas (MDI-WV) project. The MDI-WV project helps build capacities of local government units to develop and implement programs that support migrants. Mr Mitra also attended the blessing and turn-over of a new classroom and a communal organic vegetable farm supported by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas' REBUILD Project and the MDI-WV.
